  • "We had a wonderful long weekend at Mabel’s Lookout. Everything was exactly as described. The house was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked and we really appreciated the coffee machine and soda stream. The garden was fully fenced (perfect for our dog) and the location felt really private. We loved having the sauna after enjoying long walks. The view was stunning and the nighttime sky incredible. We would absolutely stay again. Thank you!!!

From the moment we arrived, we felt ourselves relax. The location is outstanding. Just a few minutes from the Bruny ferry, yet completely private, with uninterrupted views across the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. We spent hours simply watching the changing light on the water, and the evenings around the fire pit under a sky full of stars and bright full moon were unforgettable.   • Mabel’s is made for enjoying time together, with a private sauna, outdoor stone bath, indoor fireplace, fire pit, BBQ, basketball hoop, EV charger, espresso coffee machine, Smart TV and telescope. Inside, curated art pieces and generous living spaces add to the character of the house.

  • Yes. Pets are welcome at Mabel’s Lookout, so your four-legged companions can join you on your Bruny Island escape.

  • Yes. Mabel’s Lookout can host intimate elopements and micro-weddings for up to 30 day guests, making it a beautiful option for a private Bruny Island celebration. Additional event fees and conditions apply, and all events must be arranged and approved prior to booking.

  • Bookings can be cancelled up to 7 days before arrival in accordance with our cancellation policy. Full cancellation terms are provided during the booking process, so we recommend reviewing them before confirming your stay.
